HHS Consolidates and Issues Revised Provider Relief Fund FAQs

HHS issued updated Provider Relief Fund FAQs, reflecting the Medicare General Distribution Phase 2 eligibility changes and retiring dozens of FAQs generally related to the eligibility criteria and application process for distributions that are no longer available.HHS also added guidance indicating that providers must return payments within 15 calendar days of rejecting payments in the Provider Relief Fund provider payment portal. HHS had previously indicated that providers must indicate they are rejecting payments within 90 days upon receipt but did not set a timeline for returning rejected payments.
